Jason,

I could not find an email address for you on your site so I will attempt to contact you via a blog comment.

I recently did a google search on the name of an old Army buddy of mine and found it here. The name is Don Knipping and I understand he passed away in Korea in I believe the late 90's.

I never did find out the circumstances of his passing and wondered if you could fill me in.

Like I said he was a fairly close friend. My wife and I kind of looked after his wife and kids in Paso Robles (Camp Bob) when he first went to Korea in 1989 just before I got out of the Army in 1989. We were both 29Y and I also bought his truck just before he left for Korea then.

Anyway, a friend of mine has put up an Army SATCOM site at armysatcom.com if you want to check it out.

Thanks
